Narrated Muhammad bin Ka'b Al-Qurazi: I heard Abdullah bin Mas'ud saying: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: [Whoever recites a letter] from Allah's Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.' (Source: Al-Tirmidhi Book 45 Hadith 2910)

It is narrated by Aisha The Prophet ﷺ said, “Reciting the Qur’an during prayer is more excellent than reciting it at other times, and reciting the Qur’an at a time other than during a prayer is more excellent than extolling Allah and declaring His greatness. Extolling Allah is more excellent than sadaqah, sadaqah is more excellent than fasting, and fasting is a protection from Hell.” (Source: Sunnah.com reference: mishkat al-masabih 2166; In-book reference: Book8, Hadith 56)

There are many virtues associated with every surah of the Qur’an the following are virtues associated with five of the Qur’anic surahs. Surah Al-Fatiha wards off God’s anger, it is a cure for diseases, it secures from the fears of the enemy, jealousy and evil eye, it brings peace of heart, it protects faith and provides relief from debt and poverty. Surah Kahf Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said whoever recites Surah Kahf on Friday on the day of judgement from the earth to the heavens there will be light for him and the sins between two Fridays will be forgiven. (Source: Mujmouah waziaf, zia-ul-Qur’an publications, Lahore-Karachi-Pakistan)

Surah Kahf provides protection from Dajjal (Antichrist): it is said to protect a person from the trials and tribulations of the Antichrist, Dajjal, who will appear at the end of times. (Source: www.learnreadquran.com surah Kahf-meaning, theme, revelation and benefits)

Surah Yasin Narrated Anas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed for everything there is a heart, and the Quran's heart is Ya Sin. Whoever recites Ya Sin, then for its recitation, Allah writes for him that he recited the Quran ten times. (Source: Al-Tirmidhi Book 45 Hadith 2887)

Surah Rahman heals many diseases among them heart diseases. People with heart problems are asked to recite Surah Rahman daily or listen to it. Reciting it everyday increases money and wealth. Reciting it provides protection. (Source: quranonline.com/benefits-of-reading-surah-rahman)

Surah Ikhlas it is equal to reciting one third of the Qur’an (Source: Al-Tirmidhi Book 45 Hadith 2893)

Also Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever recited Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad two hundred times everyday, fifty years worth of his sins will be removed - unless he owed a debt. (Source: Al-Tirmidhi Book 45 Hadith 2898)
