In a new three-part documentary series on PBS, “The Great Muslim American Road Trip,” artist and activist Mona Haydar and her husband, Sebastian Robins, take a road trip across Route 66 to discover untold stories of America’s Muslim roots in cities around the country. The two hosts join Mehdi to talk more about the show and what they’ve learned throughout the journey.
