Hajj 2021 will begin from the evening of Saturday, July 17, 2021, and will continue till the evening of Thursday, July 22, 2021. This could be +/- 1 day because Saudi Arabia announces the actual date contingent on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah, 1442, the 12th and last month of the Islamic Calendar.

Again this year no foreign pilgrims will be allowed to perform the Hajj due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the emergence of new variants.

Over 450,000 people from within Saudi Arabia applied to perform Hajj during the first 24 hours of the opening of the registration. Hajj authorities said they will limit the attendance to 60,000 pilgrims.
