History of Compilation of Quran

Dr Israr Ahmed, the founder of Tanzeem-e-Islami, Pakistan tells us about the actual process of compilation of Quran which was completed in three stages.

The first stage is during the lifetime of Muhammad (SAW) by himself but there was no book.

The second stage is during caliphate of Hazrat Abubakar Sidique (RA) in this stage the Quran was compiled in the form of book.

The third stage is during the caliphate of Hazrat Usman (RA) in which agreed script of Quran were written.
