Different Route on 'Id Day

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to take a different route when returning from the 'Id prayer.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: On the Day of 'Id the Prophet used to return (after offering the 'Id prayer) through a way different from that by which he went.

QUICK LESSONS:
Explore new things, Be thankful to Allah , Remember Allah's presence at all times .

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of `Eid, it was the practice of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to return home by taking a different route than he took while going for offering his `Eid prayer. This teaches us that we should not be rigid in our habits and should try to explore new things and places. We can also learn from this hadith that we should always be thankful for what Allah has given us and never take anything for granted. We must also remember that Allah is watching over us at all times and He knows our every action.
