EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the power of supplications or du'a in Islam. It is narrated by Shu'ba and Mansur on the authority of each other. The hadith states that when a person has to make a choice between two options, they should perform Istikhara or prayer for guidance from Allah. After performing this prayer, they may choose any supplication which pleases them as their choice. This shows that supplications are an important part of making decisions in Islam as it helps one to seek guidance from Allah before making any decision. It also teaches us that we should always put our trust in Allah and seek His help whenever we have to make a difficult decision or choice in life.
