The Significance of Migration with the Prophet

SUMMARY: Migration with the Prophet is an important part of Islamic history.

Narrated Khabbab: We migrated with the Prophet.(This narration is related in the chapter of migration).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ خَبَّاب ٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ هَاجَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of migration in Islamic history. It was narrated by Khabbab who was one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He and many other Muslims migrated from Makkah to Madinah in order to escape persecution and practice their faith freely. This event is known as Hijrah and marks a significant moment in Islamic history as it marks when Islam began to spread beyond Makkah and become a global religion.
