Do good deeds with sincerity for Allah's sake; Focus your efforts on spiritual rather than worldly gains; Strive for righteousness even if it means sacrificing material comforts

This hadith speaks about the importance of enjoying rewards in the hereafter. Khabbab was building a wall when Qais came to him, and he said that their companions who have left this world did not enjoy anything of their reward therein. However, those who are still alive have collected much wealth that can only be spent on earth. This hadith teaches us to focus our efforts on doing good deeds for Allah's sake so we can reap its rewards in the hereafter instead of focusing solely on worldly gains. We should strive to do good deeds with sincerity and faith so we can receive Allah's blessings both here and in the hereafter.
