Perfuming the Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet was perfumed by Aisha before he assumed the state of Ihram and before departing to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada.

Narrated 'Aisha: I applied perfume to the Prophet with my own hands when he wanted to assume the state of Ihram, and I also perfumed him at Mina before he departed from there (to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada).
حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ النَّبِيَّ بِيَدِي لِحُرْمِهِ، وَطَيَّبْتُهُ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ‏.‏
