QUICK LESSONS:
Treat everyone with kindness and respect even if they are not from your own faith or belief system.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of greeting all people with respect regardless of their faith or beliefs. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed by a group of people that included Muslims, polytheists and Jews and he gave them the greeting “As-Salamu ‘Alaikum” which means “peace be upon you”. This shows us that we should treat everyone with kindness and respect even if they are not from our own faith or belief system. We should also remember to greet others in a friendly manner as this is an important part of showing respect for one another.
