The Gift of Time

SUMMARY: Time is a gift from Allah and should not be complained about.

Malik related to me from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Let none of you complain about time, for Allah is time'.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that time is a precious gift from Allah and should not be taken for granted. We should use our time wisely and not complain about it. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that “Let none of you complain about time, for Allah is time” which means that we must appreciate the gift of time given to us by God. We must use our time in the best way possible to do good deeds and stay away from bad habits or activities. It also teaches us to be mindful of how we spend our days as every moment counts in this life. We must make sure that we are using our days productively so that when the day comes when we will have to answer for all our actions on Judgement Day, we can proudly say that we used every second wisely.
