Be careful with your words; Strive for good character; Be kind even when faced with difficult situations or people who may seem unpleasant or annoying; Avoid using bad language as much as possible so that your tongue does not become used to such speech.

This hadith is about the importance of avoiding bad language and not accustoming one's tongue to it. The Prophet Isa encountered a pig on the road and instead of speaking ill of it he said "Go in peace". When asked why he said this to a pig he replied that he feared lest his tongue become accustomed to evil speech. This teaches us that we should be careful with our words and avoid using bad language as much as possible so that our tongues do not become used to such speech. We should also strive for good character by being kind even when faced with difficult situations or people who may seem unpleasant or annoying.
