This hadith is about distractions during prayer. Abu Jahm ibn Hudhayfa gave the Messenger of Allah a fine striped garment from Syria and when he did his prayer in it, he noticed that its stripes were distracting him. He then asked to give the garment back to Abu Jahm as a reminder that we should be mindful of what we wear while praying so that our focus remains on our prayers instead of being distracted by other things.
