QUICK LESSONS:
Use something like the back of a saddle for your sutrah while praying
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about what can be used as a sutrah for prayer. A sutrah is an object placed in front of someone who is praying to act as a barrier between them and any distractions or people passing by. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked what could serve as a sutrah and he replied that something the height of the back of a saddle would suffice. This hadith teaches us that when we are praying we should try to find an object to use as our sutrah so that we are not distracted from our prayers. It also teaches us to respect other people's privacy when they are praying by not walking in front of them or disturbing them in any way.
