QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity according to one's ability; show compassion towards those who are less fortunate than you; practice fairness when making decisions regarding obligations; help those in need with whatever resources you have available .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the exemption of horses and slaves from zakah. Zakah is a form of charity in Islam that requires Muslims to give a portion of their wealth to those in need. In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him exempted horses and slaves from having to pay zakah. This means that these two groups are not required to give any money or goods as part of their obligation for zakah. Instead, they can use their resources for other purposes such as buying food or clothing for themselves or others in need. The Prophet's decision was based on the fact that these two groups were already disadvantaged and did not have much wealth to begin with so it would be unfair to require them to pay zakah when they could barely afford it themselves. This hadith teaches us about fairness and compassion towards those who are less fortunate than us by exempting them from certain obligations if necessary.
