QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid having images or dogs in your home according to Islamic teachings. Respect animals even if they are present in your home. Keep your homes clean according to Islamic teachings.
EXPLANATIONS:
According to this hadith narrated by 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, it is said that the angel Jibreel came to the Prophet and told him that angels do not enter a house in which there is an image or a dog. This means that Muslims should avoid having images or dogs in their homes as they are considered impure and can prevent angels from entering. It also shows us how important it is to keep our homes clean and free from anything that could be considered impure according to Islamic teachings. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about respect for animals as even though al-Hasan's dog was present in the house at the time of this incident, it was still respected by both Jibreel and the Prophet.
