QUICK LESSONS:
Follow moderation when it comes to materialistic items; Help others; Be kind & generous; Worship Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught us that it is forbidden to wear rings made of gold or red. This hadith was narrated by Ali, one of the closest companions of the Prophet Muhammad. Wearing such rings was considered a sign of luxury and extravagance in those days, so the Prophet wanted to discourage people from indulging in such activities. He wanted people to focus on more important things like helping others, being kind and generous, and worshipping Allah instead. This hadith teaches us that we should not be too focused on materialistic things but rather focus our attention on spiritual matters which will benefit us in this life and the hereafter.
