Prohibiting Riding on Leopard Skins

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ forbade riding on leopard skins.

It was narrated that 'Amir Al-Hajri said: "I heard Abu Raihanah, the Companion of the Prophet say: 'The Prophet used to forbid riding on leopard skins.’"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ الْحَجْرِيِّ الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْحَجْرِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَيْحَانَةَ، صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ ـ ـ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ ـ يَنْهَى عَنْ رُكُوبِ النُّمُورِ

This hadith is about the Prophet's prohibition of riding on leopard skins. It was narrated by 'Amir Al-Hajri who heard it from Abu Raihanah who was a companion of the Prophet. This hadith teaches us that we should not ride on leopard skins as it is forbidden in Islam and that we should follow the teachings of the Prophet in order to be successful in our lives.
