Be generous in lending and patient when expecting repayment.

This hadith is about the reward for lending. It tells us that if we lend something to someone, we should expect repayment in return. However, the Prophet Muhammad also taught us that there is an even greater reward for lending than just repayment; it is the words of paradise. This means that if we lend something to someone and they repay us, then Allah will bless our family and wealth as well as give us words of paradise.
