Be patient and understanding when dealing with people who owe you money or rights; do not be harsh with them; remember justice will prevail in all cases; everyone will get what they deserve in due time.

This hadith teaches us that those who are owed something have authority over the debtor until it is paid off. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, that a man came to ask for some debt or right and spoke harshly to him. The Companions wanted to rebuke him but the Prophet said not to because he has authority over the debtor until it is paid off. This hadith teaches us about justice and fairness in dealing with people, even if they owe us something or we owe them something. We should not be harsh with them but instead be patient and understanding as we wait for our rights or debts to be fulfilled.
