The Importance of Obeying Allah

SUMMARY: Obeying Allah is essential and should be taken seriously.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of obeying Allah. It was narrated by 'Aishah, the wife of Prophet Muhammad, that he said "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him." This hadith teaches us that we must take our promises to obey God seriously. We should strive to fulfill our promises and stay away from disobeying God's commands. We must remember that it is only through obedience to God that we can achieve true success in this life and in the hereafter.
