The hadith narrated by 'Ubadah bin Samit tells us that when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) attended a funeral, he would not sit down until the deceased was placed in the niche grave. A rabbi then came and said that this is what they do, to which the Prophet replied by saying "Be different from them".
