It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray nine Rak’ah at night.
The Night Prayer consists of three sets of three Rakahs each with two prostrations in each set. After completing each set, one should recite a supplication known as Tasbih Fatimah which praises Allah and His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ . After completing all nine Rakahs, one should recite another supplication known as Du'a al-Qunut which asks for protection from evil and guidance on the right path.
This hadith teaches us about the importance of connecting with Allah through prayer even during times when we are tired or busy such as late at night when most people are asleep or resting. It also reminds us that we should always strive to do good deeds even if they seem small because they can bring great rewards from Allah in this life and in the hereafter if done sincerely for His sake alone.
