The Prophet's Night Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) used to pray thirteen Rakah at night.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Prophet used to pray thirteen Rak’ah at night".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ ـ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to pray thirteen Rakah of salat at night. Salat is an Arabic word for prayer and it is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a way for Muslims to connect with Allah and show their devotion to Him. This hadith teaches us that we should make sure we are praying regularly, especially at night when it can be more difficult due to tiredness or other distractions. We should also strive to make our prayers meaningful and heartfelt so that we can reap the rewards from them in this life and in the hereafter.
