It was narrated from Ja’far bin 'Amr bin Huraith that his father said: "I saw the Prophet ﷺ delivering the sermon on the pulpit, wearing a black turban".
The Prophet's example serves as an inspiration for all Muslims to follow suit when attending religious gatherings or events. We must remember that our clothing choices reflect who we are and what values we hold dear; therefore, it is important to choose modest attire that will not distract from the message being conveyed during sermons or lectures. Additionally, this hadith serves as an example of how one should conduct themselves in public settings; by dressing modestly and respectfully, one can demonstrate their commitment to Islamic values even when outside of their home environment.
