Prostration on Seven Bones

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ was commanded to prostrate on seven bones.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones".
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الضَّرِيرُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the commandment of prostrating on seven bones. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said that he has been commanded to prostrate on seven bones. This means that when a person prays or performs salat, they should make sure their forehead and nose touch the ground while their hands, knees and feet are also touching the ground.
