Necessity of Ablution and Mentioning Allah's Name

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that ablution is necessary for prayer and one must mention the name of Allah before performing ablution.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no prayer for one who does not have ablution, and there is no ablution for one who does not mention the Name of Allah (before it)'."

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that in order to perform prayer, we must first perform ablution. This means washing our hands, face, arms, head and feet with water. Additionally, we must also mention the name of Allah before performing ablution. This is an important part of our faith as Muslims because it reminds us to be mindful of God’s presence in all aspects of our lives. It also serves as a reminder to be grateful for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. Furthermore, it helps us stay focused on Him during prayer so that we can truly connect with Him spiritually and emotionally.
