SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of seeking permission before entering a place and giving salutations.

Narrated 'Amr bin Abi Sufyan: that 'Amr bin 'Abdullah bin Safwan informed him, that Kaladah bin Hanbal had informed him, that Safwan bin Umayyah sent him to bring some milk, colostrum, and Daghabis (a type of herb) to the Prophet while he was in the upper valley. QUICK LESSONS:
Seek permission before entering someone's space or home; Give salutation when meeting someone new or entering a place; Show respect for others

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of seeking permission before entering a place and giving salutations. It was narrated by 'Amr bin Abi Sufyan that Kaladah bin Hanbal informed him that Safwan bin Umayyah sent him to bring some milk, colostrum, and Daghabis to the Prophet while he was in the upper valley. He entered without seeking permission nor giving Salam but the Prophet asked him to go back and say As-Salamu Alaykum before entering. This shows how important it is for us to seek permission from people before entering their space or home as well as give salutations when we meet someone new or enter a place. It also teaches us respect for others which is an important value in Islam.
