Generosity and Kindness in Islam

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of being generous and kind to others.

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Burdah al-Ansari through a different chain of narrators. This version has: I heard the Messenger of Allah say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، أَنَّ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الأَشَجِّ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
