This hadith is about how to properly discipline someone. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that when disciplining someone, one should avoid striking the face. This teaches us to be gentle and kind even when we are trying to correct someone's behavior. It also teaches us that we should not use physical violence as a form of discipline, but rather use other methods such as talking or reasoning with them in order to get our point across. We can also learn from this hadith that it is important for us to be mindful of how we treat others and show respect even if they have done something wrong.
