The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave permission to trade a type of food called ‘araya for both dried dates and fresh dates. This is an example of how the Prophet ﷺ was very generous in his rulings and allowed people to make trades that would benefit them in their daily lives. He also showed us that it is important to be fair when trading with others, so that everyone can benefit from the exchange. This hadith teaches us about fairness and generosity in our dealings with others, as well as being mindful of our own needs when making decisions about trading goods or services.
