Calculate value before trading goods/money .

This hadith is about the sale of fruits and dried dates. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade selling fruits for dried dates, but gave permission to sell 'araya on the basis of a calculation. This means that if someone wants to buy something with dried dates, they must calculate how much it is worth in order to make sure they are not being taken advantage of or cheated out of their money. However, those who buy these items can still eat them while they are fresh and not yet dry or processed into something else. This hadith teaches us that we should be careful when making transactions involving money and goods so that we do not get cheated out our hard-earned money or possessions. It also teaches us to be mindful when buying food items so that we can enjoy them while they are still fresh and at their best quality!
