QUICK LESSONS:
Be fair when dealing with others in business transactions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of selling fruits, grapes and harvest by measure. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade this practice as it was seen as unfair to both parties involved in the transaction. This means that when someone buys something from a seller, they should not be charged for more than what they are buying. For example, if someone buys a kilogram of apples from a seller, they should not be charged for more than one kilogram even if it is measured out in cups or other units. Similarly with grapes or any other produce; it should not be sold by measure but rather weighed out accurately so that both parties are satisfied with the transaction.

This hadith teaches us to always be fair when dealing with others in business transactions and to never take advantage of someone else’s ignorance or lack of knowledge about measurements or weights. It also teaches us to always strive for justice and fairness in all our dealings with others regardless of their social status or economic standing.
