Permissibility of Praying Two RAKAHS

SUMMARY: It is permissible to pray two RAKAHS and then either remain sitting or go for work.

This tradition has been narrated by Abu Qatadah through a different chain of transmitters to the same effect from the prophet . This version adds: then he may remain sitting (after praying two RAKAHS) or may go for his work.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray two rakahs and then either remain sitting or go for work

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the permissibility of praying two rakahs. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it is permissible to pray two rakahs and then either remain sitting or go for work. This means that after praying two rakahs, one can choose to stay in the same place and continue with their worship or they can move on with their day as usual. This hadith teaches us that prayer is an important part of our lives but it should not be so time consuming that it takes away from other important tasks we have to do in our daily lives. We should strive to find a balance between prayer and other activities so we can live a productive life while still fulfilling our religious obligations.
