The Prohibition of Intoxicants

SUMMARY: Intoxicants are forbidden.

It was narrated that Ibn Sirin said: "Every intoxicant is unlawful".
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of intoxicants. It was narrated by Ibn Sirin that every type of intoxicant is unlawful and forbidden. This means that it is not permissible to consume any type of alcohol or drugs as they are considered haram in Islam. Consuming such substances can lead to physical and mental harm and can also be a source of sin if done intentionally. Therefore, Muslims should stay away from all types of intoxicants as it goes against the teachings of Islam.
