Obey God's commandments , Respect religious teachings , Avoid impurity according to Islamic law .

This hadith is about the Islamic teachings regarding dogs. It was narrated by Az-Zuhri and Ibn As-Sabbaq from Maimunah that Jibril, peace be upon him, said to the Messenger of Allah 'We (Angles) do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture'. This means that Angels will not enter any home where there are either pictures or dogs present. In response to this revelation, the Prophet Muhammad commanded that all dogs should be killed even small ones. This commandment is based on religious teachings which state that it is forbidden for Muslims to keep pictures in their homes as well as keeping animals such as dogs for companionship purposes since they are considered impure according to Islamic law. Therefore, it can be concluded from this hadith that Muslims should avoid keeping both pictures and animals such as dogs in their homes if they wish for Angels to visit them.
