EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that the Prophet Muhammad commanded that dogs should be killed. However, there were some exceptions to this rule as certain types of dogs were exempted from being killed. This hadith teaches us about the importance of following instructions and respecting authority figures such as the Prophet Muhammad. It also teaches us about mercy and compassion towards animals as we are instructed not to kill all types of dogs but only those which are not exempted from being killed. We can learn from this hadith that it is important to follow instructions while also showing mercy and compassion towards animals in our lives.
