Respect for Fasting and Non-Fasting

SUMMARY: People should not criticize each other for fasting or not fasting.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: We used to travel with the Prophet and neither did the fasting persons criticize those who were not fasting, nor did those who were not fasting criticize the fasting ones.

QUICK LESSONS:
Show kindness towards others regardless of their beliefs/choices .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about respecting people who fast and those who do not fast. It teaches us that we should not criticize or judge others based on their religious practices. We should respect everyone's beliefs and choices, regardless of whether they are the same as ours or different. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to be kind to one another, even if we disagree with someone's decisions or actions. He also taught us that it is wrong to judge someone else without knowing all the facts about them first. This hadith reminds us that we must always show respect for others, no matter what their beliefs may be.
