Death of Tribalism

SUMMARY: The hadith is about not fighting for tribalism and advocating it, as it is a death of Jahiliyyah.

It was narrated that Jundab bin 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW said: 'Whoever fights for a cause that is not clear, advocating tribalism, getting angry for the sake of tribalism, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Do what is right and just even if it means going against your own tribe or family members .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the dangers of tribalism and how it can lead to a death of ignorance. It warns us against fighting for causes that are not clear or justifiable, such as tribal loyalty. The Prophet Muhammad [SAW] taught us that this kind of behavior is wrong and should be avoided at all costs. He also warned us against getting angry for the sake of tribal loyalty, as this too can lead to a death of ignorance. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to do what is right and just, even if it means going against our own tribe or family members. We must remember that our actions have consequences and we must be mindful when making decisions in order to avoid any negative outcomes in the future.
