QUICK LESSONS:
Obey Allah's commandments from His Messenger .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ibn 'Abbas, states that the Prophet Muhammad commanded that anyone who changes their religion should be killed. This commandment was given to protect the Islamic faith and ensure its continuity. It is important to note that this punishment only applies if someone willingly and deliberately chooses to leave Islam for another faith or no faith at all. If someone is born into a different religion or does not have access to learning about Islam, they are not subject to this punishment. Furthermore, it is important to remember that this commandment was given in a specific context and time period; it does not necessarily apply today in the same way as it did then.
