QUICK LESSONS:
Give generously without expecting anything in return
EXPLANATIONS:
It is narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said that taking back a gift is similar to going back to one's vomit. This hadith teaches us the importance of giving and not taking it back. When we give something away, it should be with the intention of not expecting anything in return. We should also be generous and kind when giving gifts as this will bring us closer to Allah SWT and increase our rewards in the hereafter. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about being content with what we have and not wanting more than what we are given or have been blessed with by Allah SWT.
