EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of distinguishing between what is lawful and what is unlawful. It was narrated by Abu Balj that he heard Muhammad bin Hatib say that the voice or singing can be used to differentiate between these two categories. This means that if something is sung in a way that does not go against Islamic teachings then it can be considered lawful or halal. On the other hand, if something goes against Islamic teachings then it should be considered unlawful or haram. This hadith serves as a reminder for Muslims to use their voices in a way that follows Islamic teachings so they can stay on the right path.
