EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the difference between lawful and unlawful activities. The Prophet Muhammad said that the duff and singing for a wedding are what differentiate between lawful and unlawful. The duff is an instrument similar to a drum which is used in weddings to create music. Singing at weddings is also allowed as long as it does not contain any inappropriate words or messages. These two activities are considered permissible in Islam because they bring joy to people during special occasions such as weddings. However, it is important to remember that other activities may be considered unlawful if they involve anything that goes against Islamic teachings or values such as gambling or drinking alcohol. Therefore, it is important to be aware of what activities are permissible in Islam so that we can make sure we stay within the boundaries of Islamic law when engaging in any activity.
