EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of blessing others and living in harmony. It was narrated by Al-Hasan that Aqil bin Abi Talib married a woman from Banu Jusham, and it was said to him to wish him well with many sons. He replied with what the Messenger of Allah said which is “Barak Allahu fikum, wa baraka lakum” which translates to “May Allah bless you and bestow blessings upon you”. This shows us that we should always be wishing good for others as well as ourselves, instead of just focusing on our own desires or needs. We should also strive for peace and harmony in our relationships with others, whether it be family members or strangers alike.
