The Reward of Fasting for Allah

SUMMARY: Fasting one day in the cause of Allah will result in a great reward from Allah.

It was narrated that Abu Saeed Al-khudi said: "The Messenger of Allah: 'There is no worshipper who fasts a day in the cause of Allah, but Allah, the most high, will separate (a distance of) seventy autumns between his face and the fire in return for that day"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Worshiping god through fasting .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the great reward that comes with fasting for the sake of Allah. It was narrated by Abu Saeed Al-khudi that Prophet Muhammad said, “There is no worshipper who fasts a day in the cause of Allah, but Allah, the most high, will separate seventy autumns between his face and the fire in return for that day”. This means that if someone fasts one day out of devotion to God, then God will create a distance between them and Hellfire equivalent to seventy years. This hadith teaches us how important it is to worship God and how generous He can be with His rewards. It also encourages us to strive towards doing good deeds as much as we can so we can receive these rewards from Him.
