QUICK LESSONS:
Do good deeds and worship God
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how fasting one day in the cause of Allah can be greatly rewarded. It is narrated by Abu Saeed Al-Khudri that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever fasts a day in the cause of Allah, Allah will separate his face from the heat of Hell by a distance equivalent to seventy autumns. This means that if someone fasts for one day, they will be rewarded with an immense amount of protection from any harm or suffering they may experience in hellfire. This hadith teaches us to always strive to do good deeds and worship God as much as we can, because even small acts such as fasting can bring great rewards from God.
