The Reward of Praying Twelve Rak'ahs

SUMMARY: Praying twelve rak'ahs during the day and night will result in a house being built for you in Paradise.

It was narrated from Umm Habibah that: The Prophet said: "Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs during the day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the reward of praying twelve rak’ahs during the day and night. A rak’ah is a unit of prayer, which consists of standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever prays twelve rak’ahs during the day and night will be rewarded with a house in paradise. This hadith encourages us to pray regularly as it is an act that brings us closer to Allah SWT and rewards us with eternal bliss in paradise.
