Pray twelve extra rak’ahs throughout the day and night other than your prescribed prayers ; Strive to do good deeds ; Show gratitude towards God's blessings ; Have faithfulness towards God's commands .

This hadith speaks to the importance of prayer and how it can be rewarded. Umm Habibah narrates that if someone prays twelve rak’ahs outside of the prescribed prayers throughout the day and night then they will be rewarded with a house in paradise. These extra prayers are four before Zuhr prayer, two after it, two before Asr prayer, two after Maghrib prayer and two before Fajr prayer. This hadith is an encouragement to Muslims to pray more than what is required as Allah rewards those who do so generously. It also serves as a reminder that our actions have consequences and that we should strive to do good deeds for Allah’s pleasure as He will reward us greatly for them both in this life and the hereafter.
