Give charity generously without expecting anything in return; Show gratitude towards those who have helped you; Do not take back your alms once you have given them away; Be generous with your wealth and possessions; Have faith that Allah will reward you for your good deeds both in this life and the hereafter.

This hadith narrated by 'Umar ibn al-Khattab speaks about the virtue of charity. It teaches us that giving charity is an honorable act and should not be taken back, even if the seller is willing to sell it for a low price. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) compared taking back one's own alms to someone who swallows their own vomit, which shows how disliked this action is in Islam.
