QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity even when you have limited resources

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that there is no obligation to pay zakat, or charity, on possessions below a certain amount. According to the hadith narrated by Abu Sa'id Al Khudri, one does not have to pay zakat if they own less than five camels, five Awaq of silver coins or five Awsuq of food grains. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it was not necessary for people with limited resources to give away their possessions in charity as long as they were below these amounts. This hadith teaches us the importance of being generous and giving back even when we have limited resources and reminds us that Allah will reward those who are charitable even with small amounts.
